When choosing the title of my trailer, I came up with 10 possible film titles that I then presented to my class. Our focus group then will rate each title presented out of 10. The most popular title amongst this focus group will be the chosen title for my trailer, used in my poster and website too.
Possible trailer titles :
The Imaginary - The title will tell the audience something about the movie that the audience will only understand, once you have watched the film.
The Haunting - Hauntings are typically used in Thrillers films, This title relates back to our story line.
Dream - The main protagonist does not know if the antagonist is real or not - The audience may understand this title once you have watch the trailer
The Terror - It clearly represents the genre of thriller.
Someone - the title is as confusing as the main protagonists confusion - she does not know who the antagonist is.
Crash - This title is self explanatory as well as a clear representation of the thriller genre.
Her - The main protagonist does not know who the antagonist is so she is a "her"
Tilly - This is another self explained title as it is the main antagonists name.
HELP - This title catches the audiences attention.
The One - this title that we came up with tells you there is one main protagonist that something bad happens to.
